As a Doctor , I always used to think that the staff working with you should be as competent as you. In every hospital, Doctors form a part of a system, which have to work together to give optimum functioning. There are other people who are equally or even more important than the doctors for proper functioning.. They are the Managers, Nursing staff, Technicians, Cleaning guys etc..
I always wondered why there aren't enough schools or training centres to support these people.. Well i recently saw a website which provides training for technicians in all field.
I want to highlight their X -Ray technician training program. This website gives you a comprehensive list of schools providing this training program in the U.S. X- Ray techinicians' job is a demanding one, in which one has to learn to operate all the latest X- Ray machines, as well as other Advanced equipments like MRI, CT Scan etc. There are courses ranging from 1-4 years, which give you adequate training for a good career in this field.
